Group Sessions
Our small-group programs bring the therapeutic benefits of TheraDance into a social setting.
Led by an occupational therapist, group sessions focus on shared goals such as cooperation, confidence, balance, and expressive movement. The group format encourages motivation, peer connection, and carry-over of skills into daily life — all while keeping sessions enjoyable, structured, and inclusive.

Getting Started with TheraDance
-
Step 1: Initial OT Assessment
(90 mins, Telehealth)
Our first session is all about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about your goals, explore the role of dance-based OT in your therapy program, and gather the information I need to design a personalised therapy plan.
-
Step 2: Program Planning
(60 mins, behind the scenes)
After our first meeting, I’ll take the time to carefully design an individual plan tailored to your goals, strengths, and support needs. Every movement we use in TheraDance has therapeutic purpose — supporting confidence, participation, and enjoyment.
-
Step 3: Studio Trial
(& Ongoing Therapy)
Next, you’ll come into the studio for a trial session. If it feels right, we move into ongoing sessions — typically weekly or as school holiday intensives — with regular check-ins, caregiver collaboration, and progress updates along the way.
